Nice to meet you
I’m Raquel Souza, a Brazilian living in Lisbon. When I moved to Portugal in 2021, I immersed myself in the country’s rich artisanal culture, visiting artisans and learning about their craft. That journey inspired me to combine my passion for hosting with Portugal’s incredible ceramic heritage—and that’s how Valsa Home was born.

I’ve always had a love for interiors, which led me to work in interior design for five years. But deep down, I always dreamed of creating a brand that would offer beautiful, unique products for everyday life.
Honoring Tradition with a Modern Touch
While I’ve always admired the care and uniqueness that goes into artisanal pieces, I wanted to step away from traditional patterns and bring something fresh and contemporary to the tableware world.

My warm and vibrant Brazilian roots influence everything I create, and I always design with the modern host in mind. I know they want a beautiful table but also need things to be versatile, which is why most of our products can be mixed and matched, making them perfect for any occasion.
